Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.

Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. We are regular customers of Saint Anna Bakery and had them bake our 3 tier wedding cake. It was absolutely delicious and we received so many compliments from our guests that it was one of the best wedding cakes they've ever tasted. What we love most about their cakes is they aren't as sweet and sugary as traditional cakes, the whipped cream is light, and the fruit on the inside is always fresh. Highly recommend!

Food was below average at best, strawberry cake we got tasted like vomit. Place looked creepy and unsettling compared to other Chinatown locations. Only positive thing to say is the worker who served us was polite and kind

The service here is exceptional. The workers are friendly and took heed of all my accomodations. We had the chicken fried rice, and it was fresh and tasty. We also had the fruit tart, sponge cake, bbq pork bun and the spam and corn bun. The savory items were really good. The sponge cake was good, but it wasn't as good as Chiu Quon's. The seating situation was much better here as there is none at Chiu Quon. They had a large variety of items as well. It is located behind the stairs at Chinatown square and can be hard to find sometimes.

As good as it gets!! One of the best bakeries in Chinatown!! The sponge cake is my favorite treat in a place filled with many great ones!! You can't wrong with anything here and I'm truly never disappointed!!

Friendly staffs with fast service and extremely reasonable price. Baked BBQ pork buns and pork floss buns were soft and tasty flavored. Paper cupcakes were mild, and moist. Winter Melon cakes (wife cake) with pork and sesame seeds were flaky, soft, mild chewy texture on point. Sesame seeds pudding was creamy, thick, a hint of sweetness with sesame aroma added was one of the best I ever had.
